Companies are called upon to help carry out global responsibility!
An article by bilanz.de (german), which speaks from our hearts: we shouldn´t just talk about the elimination of flight causes, we also have to do something about it. We, as the foundation manager without borders, have worked in this way for over 10 years and were the founders of an idea that has become favorable: participatory help through know-how transfer.
“It’s good to change your perspective now and then!”
At present, many decisions in German companies are embedded in global contexts. We are now aware that when we act locally, it has an impact somewhere on the other side of the world.
That’s why it’s good to change perspective from time to time. Otherwise there is a danger of succumbing to a distortion of one’s own perception. Anyone who is able to put aside his Western view of the world for a moment and seriously expose himself to a new experience and self-reflection will make better, more sustainable and liability minimizing decisions in the long term.
The commitment of managers without borders is an asset for all actors. For the people of the countries of origin, who will be able to lead independent lives and build long-term livelihoods, for the managers, who can use the mission for their personal development and acquire a deeper understanding of holistic thinking and for the companies, who can satisfy theirCorporate Social Responsibility and feel fortunate to have these employees on their team.”
