Invitation to the MOG intensive seminar “basic+change” in February 2019
As a practical preparation for your work as „Manager ohne Grenzen“ and also useful as a decision-making tool for interested parties, we offer basic intensive seminars three times a year. Next date:
Date: February 1st+2nd 2019, Stuttgart
Begin: Friday, 11 am – 6.30 pm
End: Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm
As preparation for a mission, no matter in which country and in which project, a seminar is mandatory for every “Manager without Borders”. This means that every interested person goes through the entire in-depth preparation program for 2 days before being allowed to get involved in a project as a “manager without borders”.
The intensive seminar introduces you to the world of managers-without-borders is divided into three areas:
• What touches me – own point of view and personal motivation
• What moves the world – challenges in global sustainable development.
• Characteristics of intercultural differences in global areas of tension.
We devise strategies for everyday life in the project, help you experience typical challenges up close through practical case exercises and develop solutions.
You will address the issues of poverty and personal stress limits, reflect upon your own choices and motivations, far away from your executive duties and day-to-day managerial responsibilities. And at the same time, test what it means to have all of your “management tools” at the ready and deploying them at a moment´s notice, in a totally different and challenging environment, with clearly defined goals – and all the challenges a hands-on mission may pose
The personal gains of this seminar: introspection, impulses and skills in social competence and global responsibility and getting to know social entrepreneurship models and their applications, especially for use in the missions.
This seminar is mainly for “Active managers”, an intense preparation process for their impending mission. At the end of the seminar, there will be a kind of assessment center, where we will assign those managers who have decided to work with us to the respective projects and agree with them on how the assignment can be realized – and by whom.
