Who are we?
The Foundation managerswithoutborders is a social enterprise. Since 2005, the foundation organizes and coordinates on-site project consultancy for SME partners in developing countries, with a focus on Africa. The special feature: the consultants are active managers from German and European companies. They advise you across industries and segments with their specialist knowledge. With these specialists we promote entrepreneurial developments. The BusinessHUB is a local branch of the German Foundation managerswithoutborders.
Why do we want to #buildabusinessHUB in Uganda?
In the businessHUB we will be directly accessible in Uganda. This means that any business and entrepreneur can come and discuss his/her business challenges and ideas with the local businessHUB. For example: a resident dairy farmer wishing to expand and learn about exporting his/her products or the StartUp that manufactures shoes from recycled materials, and needs assistance in preparing a business plan. The possibilities are endless.
The businessHUBs will also offer consulting, training and start-up support through German Managers. Through the regional networks of our BusinessHUBS, there will be opportunities for financing, secured governmental cooperation and business development. We are accessible to emerging companies and start-ups across the country, including women’s cooperatives, farmers’ associations, village communities, tourism providers, IT start-ups, solar power electricians and others.
