After starting as a personal initiative “Managers without borders” of the media entrepreneur Helene Prölß, it was transferred to the foundation managerohnegrenzen gGmbH (MOG) in 2009 as a non-profit trust foundation, based in Stuttgart and has project experience since 2005. In 2016, the foundation changed its legal form to a non-profit limited liability company (gGmbH).

Our vision is to promote self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods for disadvantaged people in poverty-stricken areas and so-called LICs (low-income counties), across borders and continents. We believe that strengthening and disseminating economic skills, supporting sustainable economic development at the local level, and creating local jobs are the best lasting protections against destitution and displacement.
To overcome poverty in the medium and long term through the establishment and development of small and medium-sized economic structures and thus successfully fight it at its roots – that is our mission.
3. information on tax benefits
The Company is registered with the Stuttgart Corporate Tax Office under tax number 99143/01042.
Based on the annex to the corporation tax assessment 2019 of the tax office, the Company is exempt from corporation tax and trade tax with the exception of taxable commercial operations.
4. NAME AND FUNCTION OF THE MAIN DECISION-MAKERS
The managing director is the initiator and founder Helene Prölß, who holds a degree in business administration. The four shareholders of the gGmbH are Diederik Sutorius, Helene Prölß, Dr. Harald Schützeichel and Dr. Gerhard Ziegler.
5. REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES OF OUR ORGANIZATION
The sole purpose is to strengthen sustainable entrepreneurial development in LICs (Low-Income-Countries) in the areas of business, life support, education and upbringing
The focus is on the establishment, promotion and further development of small and medium-sized enterprises, social enterprises, non-profit organizations (NPO), women’s cooperatives, grassroots initiatives and further education institutions.

6. DISCLOSURES ON THE PERSONNEL STRUCTURE
The managerohnegrenzen gGmbH foundation has 37 employees. Of these, 26 are female and 11 male. In addition, there are 4 shareholders and 5 members of the foundation board.
Permanent employees: min. 2 and max. 5 (mostly part-time).
Volunteers: 60 per year (interns and managers without borders on internal and external assignments)
Internal: 10 volunteers and interns
Externally: at least 50 managers on consulting assignment
